The Erickson Foundation supports the planning of the Erickson Health Information Exchange. The long-range goal is to improve the health and wellness of Marylanders with sustainable health information technology tools that are adopted statewide by key stakeholders. We aim to build a standards-based health information exchange initially focused on accurately delivering a patient’s medication history and current medication regimen. We work in partnership with the Maryland Healthcare Commission, The Johns Hopkins Health System, the MedStar Health System, and The University of Maryland Health System.
