The core research and development team employed by the Erickson Foundation carefully considers each submitted research protocol. To complement its own review efforts, the team solicits the perspectives and recommendations of peer reviewers and consultants invited for this purpose. The team also engages in extensive due diligence into the qualifications, experience, and track record of proposed study personnel. They also examine the integrity and safety of proposed investigational procedures and the likelihood that the central aim will be achieved with minimal burden to research participants, including host staff.
